MCB Blocks Added to Secure Box Ducting Construction

North Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-dept. added 60 movable concrete barrier (MCB) blocks for box ducting construction work on Jalan Lodan Raya, Pademangan, on Tuesday (10/31) dawn.

North Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-dept.'s Road Infrastructure Property and Utility Network Section Head, Libertus Sagala said, MCB units were added because 320 MCB blocks which previously installed were considered not enough.  

"We add 60 MCB blocks for road users' safety. All of them are installed around unfinished box ducting construction," he said, Tuesday (10/31).

Meanwhile, North Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-dept. Head, conveyed his regret since this construction is causing inconvenience for road users on Jalan Lodan Raya. But he also hopes road users to understand and be patience because this is done for public.

"On behalf of North Jakarta Administration and Jakarta Provincial Government, I am really sorry for the inconvenience to all road users. We will finish this work as soon as possible," he added.

According to him, in order to make utility network become more neat and not blocking water flow in channel, his side needs to elevate the sidewalk and make box ducting in the area.
